Peacemaker is an American television series created by James Gunn and scheduled to air on January 13, 2022, on HBO Max.

The first television series in the DC Cinematic Universe, it centers on the Peacemaker, a DC Comics character whose theatrical version was introduced in 2021 in The Suicide Squad. Chronologically, it takes place after the events of the film.

Left for dead after his confrontation with Bloodsport during their mission on Corto Maltese Island with Task Force X, Christopher Smith, aka the Peacemaker, actually survived. He is found by Amanda Waller's team and assigned new missions.
