How are our doormats made?

For each doormat, nearly 25 coconuts are used.

The husks are first submerged in coastal lagoons then beaten by hand to extract the fibers.

All FISURA doormats are painted and colored by hand.

For drying, the doormats are exposed to sunlight. The duration varies according to the season.

Do the letters lose their sharpness over time?

The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. Any fading is due to either wear and tear or the conditions of the location where the doormat is placed. It is important to remember that this is an indoor doormat: to maintain its original appearance, it should not be exposed directly to sunlight or rain.

Does it shed a lot of fibers?

The coir fibers are attached to the base with glue. Of course, not all of them attach in exactly the same way, so it is quite normal for some fibers to come loose at first. To clean it, use a slightly damp brush. Do not use excessive water.
